Cesme can be reached from Izmir by buses that leave every 45 minutes in winter time and every 20 minutes in summertime. Ferry boats can be taken from Istanbul to Yalova to Izmir Port during the tourist season. Buses also run from Istanbul and Ankara to Cesme and there are also ferryboats from Greece and Italy.
