Agri skiing center is on Bubi Mountain that is 18 km away from Agri province.The
most suitable time for skiing is from December to Apil as the center has a
continential feature.In winter the height of the snow can be 1-2 m.There is also
a teleski which is 1227 m lenght is at your service.There is also a chair lift

Agri city is rich in historical heritages such as Beyazit Old Mosque, Toprakkale
Mosque, Surmeli Mehmet Pasa Tomb, Three Tombs, Three Churches, The Tomb Of
Hamur, Karagoz Church.For history lovers, Agri is breathtaking.There are
numerous castles such as Tokluca Castle, Kan Castle, Dogubeyazit Castle, Diyadin

governor had built Ishak Pasa Palace in 17th century.After restoration, it has
been a building with mixed architecture design.For history lovers, it`s a worth
place to see.There are other attractions near the palace: an Urartian king reief
and a rock tomb that had dated to the 9th century BC.Patnos includes ruins from
the same period.
You will be surprised with the meteoric hole which is located between the
Gurbulak border gate and Sancavus village.It`s about 80 years old and the second
largest hole of this type in the world because of its width(35 m) and depth (60
m).
Except these touristic attractions, there are some specialities.For example,
`Lake Balik`trout is so delicious that you should try.Another interesting thing
is the local dessert `Asure` which is known as `Noah`s Pudding`.

Agri can be divided in 7 districts: Diyadin, Dogubeyazit, Eleskirt, Patnos,
Taslicay and Tutak.
Diyadin is 7 km away from the city center and located near the Murat
